Career and Technical Education Work Group
While I was in Richmond on Tuesday, I hosted the first meeting of my “Work Group for the Advancement of CTE.”
As a contractor and owner of businesses that rely on quality workers, it’s a passion of mine to ensure that Virginia is offering students multiple options for post-high school activity.
That includes careers such as welding, carpentry, dental and medical assistance, hair styling, machinists, and many more!
This group is amazing – comprised of education and business leaders- and I know over the next few months we will work together to identify ways to advance CTE in Virginia.
